This site is part of the Opportunity Wales programme. Opportunity Wales is the eCommerce advice and support initiative that has helped 11,900 Small and Medium Sized businesses in Wales benefit from integrating eCommerce into their enterprises. Opportunity Wales has checked with 6,978 of their clients and found that combined, their turnover has increased by £338.7m and that 3,382 new jobs have been created. This is a not only a testament to the service that Opportunity Wales provides, but more importantly it is a testament to the power of eCommerce.
eCommerce doesn’t just mean buying and selling on-line. Integrating a business’ back office systems with their Web site, being able to tender for contracts electronically, using the internet to make phone calls and businesspeople having access to their office files and data from anywhere in the world are just some of the eCommerce applications that are helping Welsh businesses to grow.
